Adding properties with our existing numbers #91

UPDATE Make errors for no group assigned to property more informative, with instructions on fixing

R643. I have tried to add it - but there is a problem - see this on "view properties" - there is an error box on it. Please advise the correct procedure for adding a property - as I do not know if it is a glitch or I am doing s/thing wrong.

Under Contact - I add the contact details then click Add Property. Then I put in the number which our old system has created, but then a strip comes up saying "we are trying to add this number ...." - but then an error comes up.

I am now having to add a lot of properties and need to know the correct procedure for adding them!

R643 was not assigned to any group. A property must belong to a group, I have now assigned it to redstudio design limited, so this makes the error go away. Because the property wasn't in any group, it had no information to refer to regarding who owned the property. I'll try and make the error more informative

I imported all of the properties from the old system, so most should be in the system already, in these cases it was just the contacts that needed adding and then assigning to the properties. Because the correct contacts weren't in the system I just assigned all of these properties to redstudio design limited.
