Error Message: There are some errors in the Matomo Diagnostics System report that may prevent the plugin for working normally. #1132

Hi @lukerichmond, it looks like your Matomo should work despite the warnings in the System report. Are you experiencing any problems or are you waiting to get started?

:+1: Got it. That message ("There are some errors...") is a bit aggressive and we'll likely change when it's displayed in the future.

If you do experience any issues please create an issue (here or on the WordPress plugin's support forum) and we'll help out.

@lukerichmond there should be a "Matomo Analytics > Get Started" admin page that should help with that? You can enable tracking from there. After that, it should start collecting data and generating reports.

You can further configure tracking (if you need to) in the "Matomo Analytics > Settings" admin page.

Are you using Matomo Cloud? Or a self-hosted Matomo?

Matomo for WordPress is the entire Matomo software built into a WordPress plugin.

If your Matomo is outside of your WordPress (it's our cloud offering or service sold by another company or something you are hosting yourself), and you want to connect to it, you'll need to use a different WordPress plugin, see: https://matomo.org/faq/new-to-piwik/how-do-i-install-the-matomo-tracking-code-on-wordpress/

Is there any way I could share screens with you and help me? I have the app in my wordpress plugins but does not let me run it.

I then tried to do it externally and didn't work either.

@lukerichmond Are you able to take screenshots of the problem and email them? If so, can you email screenshots of what you're seeing to dizzy (at) innocraft (dot) com.
