Wordpress plugin not archiving #135

Closed diondkb closed 4 years ago

Hi,

Should a manual report archive trigger a critical error on my website. I waited for about 20 mins for the resulting email to be sent but nothing. Not sure where I can get the error message from besides enabling debug?

Here is the system report though:-

@diondkb thanks for creating the issue. Any chance you could go to Matomo => Reporting and then check in one of the real time reports (eg in the dashboard or visitor category) whether it is showing visits in general?

Archiving should likely not take 20 minutes. Any chance you could enable WP_DEBUG see https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/i-have-a-problem-how-do-i-troubleshoot-and-enable-wp_debug/ ? Then it might show any error that is happening

The system report looks all good otherwise.

Hi Thomas,

I believe that the wp cron job isn’t the most reliable as the core has to be loaded in order for the cron to run. Would it not be better to move it to a cron on the server? Anyway I have included a file with the bug report. I noticed that the cron job fails every now and then, hence my initial comment.

Thanks, Dion
