Be able to track categories in Matomo #640

Some users like this one https://wordpress.org/support/topic/using-wordpress-tags-and-categories-in-matomo/ would love to be able to track the wordpress categories in their Matomo. It could be nice to have a feature which allows that.

I would like to see this, too.

I'd also like to point out, that it should me more like a "meta" tracking, and not forced to be categories only. There's also tags, which could be useful, too. Sounds like it should be pushed as a Custom Dimensions (Useful links: 1, 2) ..
