Matomo doesnt show any analytics since months (reference issue #740) #746

A few days ago we opened an issue, because we dont get any data (Issue #740). We have done the following recommended steps:

After one day of waiting we still dont get any data.

Our hoster (all-inkl.com) asked, how we can address the CLI with a different PHP version. Where exactly the CLI command is adjustable.

Hello @lisarocz

You still have warnings concerning your PHP Cli. But you can ignore them as your plugin is running in sync mode.

But, after updating your Matomo configuration, they should not exist anymore. Do you have a SSH access on your server? If yes, could you email me at wordpress@matomo.org the output of the following command: /full/path/to/php/cli -v where /full/path/to/php/cli is the value you set in the Matomo configuration file. We'll release a new plugin release today. Can I ask you to run the update and then copy paste again the system report please?

I've tried to reproduce your configuration. I don't have any errors so far, but I've not been able to get all your plugins...

We detect in the system report if we detect visits in the past 5 days. I can't find this value in your system report. It can happen sometimes. But you confirm that from the "Matomo Analytics > Reporting > Visitors > Visitors log" you have records in the past 5 days?

There is a way to force the archiving process from the "Matomo Analytics > Diagnostics > Troubleshooting > Archive reports" button. Can you click on it? Do you get any error? Do your reports are created afterward?

Hello Mat,

I will try to get access to SSH, dont have it at the moment.

Sure, we can run the update when it is available.

We dont have Visitor log in the last 5 days. The last registered log is from mai 2022.

I have clicked "Matomo Analytics > Diagnostics > Troubleshooting > Archive reports" yesterday and again this morning. There was no error but also no Report afterwards.

Just to clarify: for you it's normal that you don't have any visits in you visitors log since May 2022, and your problem is that you don't have any reports for these data? Or your problem is you don't have any data in your visitor log since May 2022? Kind regards

Hi Mat,

the problem is that we dont have any data at all. We dont know how many vistors we had, where they came from, how Long they stayed at our site and so on…Matomo is complete empty since mai 2022 (see attachment). Before, there was data.

I just found that problem by now, because I am new at our Enterprise since january and wanted to know our web-statistics.
