Comparison in Scheduled Reports #21355

I often use the statistic as a comparison of two months in a row. I think matomo could do better with this feature. There are a few things you could add or improve.

Summary

First... I completely miss this feature in Scheduled Reports. Even if I have a comparison set, the report is not generated as a comparison.

Second... the widgets show the comparison, but the percentages don't show until I hover over them. I would like to change that and display everything immediately.

Third... some widgets could display comparisons better

I think comparing two time periods is an important feature. And it would be good to think, be inspired by the competition and suggest some improvements :)

Hi @marvays Thanks for your suggestions. For future issues, please try to create one issue per suggestion. We most likely can't work on everything at once and issues that include multiple things are hard to triage.

First... I completely miss this feature in Scheduled Reports. Even if I have a comparison set, the report is not generated as a comparison.

Comparing in scheduled reports is indeed something that could be very helpful.

Second... the widgets show the comparison, but the percentages don't show until I hover over them. I would like to change that and display everything immediately.

Displaying the percentage values without hover should be covered by #15515 already.

Third... some widgets could display comparisons better

Sorry, but without further details it's hard to guess what you think should be improved. If you have specific suggestions maybe create a new issue for each.
