Highlight the selected metric on a graph #22118

Hi team,

When one hover his mouse on a point on a graph, the black window shows all the metrics without any distinction between each. It would be interesting to put in bold the one which has been selected: Screenshot from 2024-04-15 15-34-58 Suggested solution:

Can you please explain why this would be useful or what the use case is? All the points are relevant to the same time point, and you can't select one without the others. Just trying to understand the benefit of this.

Hi @michalkleiner, this feedback has been pushed from a general end user. It is a minor UX thing. Let's imagine that you have 5 lines on the graphs, you hover your mouse on point on the graph, you get the black popup window showing up... how can you identify the metric figure easily from this popup?

That sounds like a good argument ;-) Anyway I guess at some point we need to look for a more flexible charting library that brings in more of such features...
