Authentification Token not displayed

What happened?

When we want to generate an authentification token to connect with matomo looker studio, the page freezes and load for seconds. After reloading the page, we see a token created with the title and its purpose but we can't find the actual token to copy and connect with Matomo looker studio.

What should happen?

We should be able to display the token and copy it to make the connection with Matomo looker studio.

How can this be reproduced?

Parameters > Personal > Security go to the bottom of the page Type the purpose of your token and click "create new token"

Hey @Juliovitch Sorry for the delay in getting a response here. We are currently not aware of any issue around the token creation. Are you maybe using an ad blocker that might block some parts of the page? Did you check if there are any failing requests in the browser console or if the content is hidden for some reason, while it is still included in the html or similar?

But in any case you should consider updating to Matomo 5, as it includes a couple improvements you shouldn't miss out.

Also as mentioned, you should consider updating to Matomo 5, as it includes a couple improvements you shouldn't miss out. :)
