Check-Engine-Light signal for the main interface #22583

When I open Matomo's dashboard, I wish I could see a green light / red light that tells me how successful recent archiving has been.

Currently, it is difficult to monitor archiving. There is a message but it is quite buried. To see archiving succesfullness in the interface a user must do all of the following:

Open admin >> diagnostic >> system check >> "Last Successful archinving completion"

Instead we should have a signal on the main page, showing information about the health of the archiving. It should have an option to turn this off in the configuration. Optionally, this could be built as plug-in.

One recent user told us:

Your current solution requires an administrator to constantly monitor log files. This approach is not sustainable for our team, as it demands significant time and resources that could be better allocated elsewhere.
