In this Pull request for the kernel modules there was a bug fixed: Bug Fix: Change led order from GRWB to RGBW and use buffer write function. https://github.com/matrix-io/matrixio-kernel-modules/commit/d77b5ab22c8de44d245888b8f7097bcc360691e7

This bug is still visible if you do a clean Raspbian install with only the matrix-creator-init.
