Libera bridge cannot connect my user to IRC since today's bridge restart #1716

After today's bridge restart the bridge kicked me from all the bridged libera IRC<->Matrix rooms I was on. Rejoining the rooms manually did not cause the bridge to connect me to IRC, and after some time it kicked me again repeatedly.

Trying to chat with the appservice user:

!reconnect: "Reconnecting to network..." but nothing happens
!whois delroth: "unsafeClient not ready yet"
!cmd HELP: "Error: Client is not connected"
!quit: no reply, but it also didn't help as far as I can tell.
!join ##delroth-test: my Matrix user gets invited to the room, but no IRC user ever joins the ##delroth-test bridged channel.

No clue how to proceed from here, I'm @delroth:delroth.net if you want to debug stuff any further.

Seems like it has resolved itself after a few hours of brokenness. No idea why it just decided to work again... I didn't do anything, and suddenly my IRC user connected and joined the channels for the bridged rooms I am on. Is there a tracking bug to dedup this against perhaps?

I've been in a similar situation since the bridge update on 2023-07-31 (currently 2023-08-05, ~5 days later).

!reconnect: "Reconnecting to network..." but nothing happens
!whois vaguerant: "Whois request timed out"
!cmd HELP: no response
!quit: no reply, but I do get kicked from all rooms on the Matrix side
!join ##vaguerant-test: "You are not authorised to join channels on this server."

Connecting to Libera using an IRC client, I can see that my bridge user/puppet is not connected to Libera at all. Even so, I am still able to see all old and new content in the bridged rooms on the Matrix side, i.e. all Libera messages are leaking to me, a user who is not in the channel or even on the server. My messages are obviously not relayed since I'm ... not on the server.

Can confirm the same thing was happening to me again as well. I gave up and set up Heisenbridge.
