unregister irc user from matrix (bridge) #1726

Hi,

I added recently bridge for matrix/irc , and i broke the config.

So current behavior, i'm connected to matrix but when i joined to the room, i saw two users: see screen below :

Do you have any idea to disconnect / unregister libera user from matrix ?

Hi, please don't ping individual team members. We process this issue queue in UTC mornings and so it can take until the next working day to process.

On the issue at hand. I don't think the joined user needs unregistering, it's an IRC user that joined a channel at some point and has been represented on Matrix.

What are you trying to do with the bridge. Which channel is being connected to which room (ID or alias please)?

i'm unable to interact with irc account from matrix ! i tried whois from libera and i got message that username already taken !

so at least, i need to unregister this user from matrix and register user from irc first
