Cannot join a Matrix closed room from XMPP #317

Using mcabber as Jabber client, I cannot join a “closed room” even if the owner adds my converted JID to the access list. That or we cannot figure out the correct converted one.

Joining a public room on the same server using the @matrix.org bridge works, though, even if #313 applies.
