By way of illustration e.g. https://view.matrix.org/room/!WqsLCItsZbJGhRjnxP:matrix.org/ provides a user who doesn't know about Matrix with no clue at all of how to participate that room (in this case of that particular room, a user is more likely to join up via IRC - since at least that is in the room topic).
anything new regarding this issue? Because it's not obvious that you can join the room by clicking on a timestamp I think having to provide two links or proving the joining-link in the topic isn't a good solution.
I only found out about
/aliases
by accident, and was otherwise left quite confused trying to join a room I found onview.matrix.org
. A fat button in the top right taking me tomatrix.to
might make sense. Thanks for your consideration.
