And on top of that, none of the links to Available Plugins work any longer.
I was going to go to getbitbar.com to find a donate link since I've been using this for years and wanted to contribute. 😞
bump
Ditto for this. The old website was really fantastic. It has a list of plugins, and links on each that instantly added them to your bitbar. Impressively seamless for adding new plugins. Now I have to navigate around git hub, clone plugins via command line, etc. just to get plugins I want. Very sad.
Can anyone contact the owner and see what's going on, maybe?
I think the ability to update the app from the preferences submenu has been disabled as a result of the domain redirecting here. I would also love to donate to keep up with the support of this fantastic app.
but.. why? I'm new... and finding which plugins to use is pure pain. Any plans on bringing it back?
This may have something to do with it -> https://twitter.com/matryer/status/1367107403997732865 Also, check out Mat's other tweets in relation to xbar i.e. https://twitter.com/matryer/status/1368269897797623819
Looking forward to the 'reboot' :-)
yeah i'll be honest, I switched over to SwiftBar
@theg00s3 Same.
Both xbar and swiftbar require Catalina or newer. Bitbar runs fine on my older Mac, but now with everything redirecting to xbar, I can't find where to download Bitbar or its plugins. I don't mind that development has stopped on Bitbar, but I wish I could still use it for as long as it keeps working on older Macs. 😞
