If I don't check for pip, it will work.
Looks like xbar timeout is hard-coded to 2 minutes since v2.1.7-beta
as per https://github.com/matryer/xbar/commit/3a8508a6191735999a963a596f226485ed0e6295 . This was bumped following #735.
I guess what you need is the feature describe in https://github.com/matryer/xbar/issues/704 which will allow for user-defined timeout.
If I don't check for pip, it will work.
In that case you can let mpm
always ignore pip
by creating a config file at ~/.mpm/config.toml
, and put this in:
[mpm]
exclude = ["pip"]
Running in terminal is fine.
One thing standing out is that mpm needs a few minutes to finish. Does xbar has a timeout mechanism?
