Output does not get cycled in the menu bar #822

I just created the following plugin in my plugins folder

The documentation it clearly says

Multiple lines will be cycled through over and over.

Behavior

i expected that the menu item will change from "One" then "Two" then "Three" but it always remained as "One". I tried refreshing it, running different commands. The behavior is that the first output is what is getting displayed in the top.

PS - I am new to xbar and i was trying to create a plugin using my python skills

Version of xbar

v2.1.7-beta

Version of mac

macOS Monterey version: 12.2.1

Also having this issue.

xbar: v2.1.7-beta mac: M3 Pro, Sonoma 14.1
