pplacer --groups stalls in phylosift #338

When I run phylosift, pplacer will run without the --groups option, but not with the --groups option.

This doesn't finish: pplacer --groups 15 -o concat.updated.1.jplace --verbosity 0 -j 12 -c concat.updated "concat.updated.1.fasta"

This finishes: pplacer -o concat.updated.1.jplace --verbosity 0 -j 12 -c concat.updated "concat.updated.1.fasta"
