Negotiate data exchange between datascripts and cft #216

There will likely be some new data input requirements, and as a result, @psathyrella and I will have to decide how to negotiate the exchange of data from datascripts to cft. I think we can make it pretty non-invasive to datascripts, but we'll need to chat to figure out the exact specifics, and see what's most synergistic.

Closing, since the goal of this issue was simply to negotiate what the data exchange would look like, and that's now settled. It'll be either a json or yaml arranged something like the above.
