Is there any research available on integrating ride sharing with public transport in matsim? If someone wants to use DRT as an egress mode for public transport, what should be the steps?

For the technical implementation in MATSim there is documentation here: https://github.com/SchweizerischeBundesbahnen/matsim-sbb-extensions Our department and others research on that topic, e.g. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.trpro.2019.09.076.
