Running MatSim on ARM architecture #995

Hello, I ran MatSim Los Angeles scénario on a cluster with ARM cpu architecture, and it’s 6 times slower than on Intel CPU. Do someone has any solution for that ?

What ARM CPU did you run it on? What was the CPU speed? How much memory did the system have, and what kind of memory (DDR4, DDR5, ...?)

And the same for the Intel CPU: What CPU model, what memory?

I'm sure you'll also find some Intel CPU (e.g. a 4-core CPU) being some factors slower than another Intel CPU (e.g. a 28-core CPU). So without any more details, this cannot be answered, as the range of CPUs is just too large for both Intel and ARM architecture CPUs.

Thanks for your response. I use the CPU's in 2 distinct supercomputer nodes. One has Intel Xeon Gold 6230 20C @ 2.1GH. The other has Fujitsu A64FX, 48 C, 2,2GH. On, this one, MATSim is very slow (6x slower than on Intel) ...
