Please describe the feature requested.

Currently the JavaDoc for the generated jars is not versioned.  Instead, it 
should be split on the version of the API (e.g. "v1") and the version of the 
generated jar (e.g. "1.2.0-beta").

This repository is going to be obsoleted. Let's track this internally for the 
replacement.
