If i manually shutdown native client and then restart it all projects are gone and all in progress work is gone.

samsung note ii with native client installed on sd card.

I observed similar behaviour on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 (also installed on sdcard, but device have only internal memory). How long boinc shutdowns (over 40 seconds)? Are you using version 0.4.3.3 or later? NativeBOINC kills all processes and boinc after shutting down (for security). Maybe this is reason.

yes i only want to run at night, at home, so i shutdown for 8-10 hours. i am running 4.4.1b as of today, same problem

ok so i did some testing. the issue only occurs when installed on sd instead of on device. i uninstalled, reinstalled on device, shutdown works fine, when restarting all projects come back. uninstalled again, reinstalled on sd, original. behavior returns.(shutdown causes all projects to be erased)

for now im running installed on device.

thanks!

I experienced this on my samsung galaxy s3 when I selected to use my external SD card on which to put the application. I'm not sure if it will happen this time as I uninstalled and reinstalled on my main phone memory.

I'm not sure whether this is related or not... but when it was installed on the SD card, it repeatedly warned me that project settings were outside the project area for various projects, and a number of new work units were not downloaded successfully. I actually think these problems may be linked.
