Download and Open Logs in Local Text Editor #28

Hi. Would it be possible to extend the functionality of the "Save Logs" button when showing the process execution log so it would download and open the log file in the local application associated with the file extension? The current window in Boomi UI for reading logs has several drawbacks in my opinion so downloading and opening the log file is something I do everytime I need to read a log, and this extended feature would make that part much more efficient. Thank you.

Hi There!

Unfortunately there's not an easy path forward to take the zip file from the "Save Logs" feature, unzip it and open a native app on your computer... as most of the changes this plugin makes are specific to the browser and the file with the logs comes from the Boomi server.

Perhaps you can make a macro of some sort on your computer that can perform the steps you described?
