Any updates regarding this one?

I just installed SocialFixer and ran into this immediately. I added a filter immediately after the provided "Hide Sponsored Posts" filter, specifying Link Url starts with "https://www.facebook.com/ads/about/" (simple text match) and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Of course, this will block a non-sponsored post that happens to link to the same page, but I can live with that for now.

I spoke too soon. It appeared to work at first, most likely because I didn't scroll far enough. I just found the "Debug" context menu, so I'll experiment some more.

Looks as if the built-in filter catches about half of the sponsored posts in my feed. My extra filter isn't doing anything. :-( Examining the source, it's clear that FB has done a log of work to obscure sponsored posts.
