I think GDP is very cool. I've played around with it and it has some interesting applications. It has taken me some time to understand it so I made a video with a quick overview of this package with focus on the non academic audience (people like myself basically). I'm attaching a link to my video in this message. I'd be interested to hear if you think I've understood GDP correctly.
