Suggestions for new TinyCAD features #89

Hi there!

I have been using TinyCAD to draw electrical circuit schematics for our new-build steam locomotives, Tornado and Prince of Wales, since 2017 (see www.a1steam.com and www.p2steam.com). I find it to be a superb and flexible system. Well done to everyone for developing and maintaining it!

I have some suggestions for future enhancements which I hope will be helpful.

Printing At the moment it is a bit hit and miss as to whether the print dialogue correctly scales for the document (page) size and printer paper size. You need to do a Print Preview and then hope that this carries over to the print dialogue so you can click the 'Fit on a single page' with confidence and not end up wasting paper. It would be really helpful if the print dialogue box could pick up the printer name and settings from the top cells and allow a tick in the 'Fit on a single page' check box to always work.

Edits to multiple items At the moment (unless I have missed something!) if you want to modify the properties of multiple items, you need to do this one item at a time. It would be really good if it would be possible to select multiple items (as now, using Ctrl+ click, or dragging to select) and then alter properties, such as colour, font size, width, etc, of all the selected items together. This would be a big productivity win for me!

Undo button It would be really helpful if an 'Undo' button could be added to the toolbar.

I hope these are useful inputs. I'd be pleased to answer any follow-up questions you may have.
