I'm not certain that we want to change this behaviour. You can always just
click the
text name of the research item, rather than the scrollbar, to see the
description
without adjusting the slider.
Thoughts?

yeah you could but it wasnt my first though, and actually i didnt think of it
till
you told me instead i jus clicked where the cursor already was/is

I'm with Phil, this should be WontFix. Clicking on a slider should make that
slider
work. If you just want to select it, you should click elsewhere in that area.

Marking WontFix. I think making scrollbars take two clicks will actually cause
more
problems than solve them.
