Try Linkify.js, Anchorme.js or Autolinker.js.

Hey Matt, Looking into using Linkify.js Reading up on it now.

@thedoorkeep was working on this, too. Not sure how far either of you got, but this is why we should be using the chat itself to communicate about what we are working on and when.
