I am having an issue where my Redox works on Mac OS 11.1 in Macbooks USB port. However, when using the keyboard plugged into an external monitor's usb hub, and the monitor connected to the Macbook via mini Displayport, keyboard input does not work. The keyboard is receiving power because the lights come on.

I can use the keyboard using the exact same setup except with the monitor connected to a different macbook via usb-c. any idea what could be the issue?

seems like display port 1.2 may not support usb? this is the version that my monitor supports
