Dmyers route query (#9) #19

@dmyers adding your stuff here in a separate branch. Test were failing locally too (npm test to run all the tests). Had do do a little fix and added a test too. Now it should be ready to go. Closing #17 and adding you here as admin, so next time you can just create Pull requests in separate branches.

Thank you so much! I has taken a small break from benchmarking some APIs, but am getting back into it so might have more PRs to make too. :+1:
