Summary

Ability to react or "like" a card or comment similar to Channels.

How important this is to me and why

Importance: Medium

Use cases:

  1. Allows users to indicate that they've seen or support a card/comment without having to leave a comment.
  2. Vote on ideas/cards

One thing excited a couple of people already is in fact the Kanban board style. If there were a voting feature on the cards, we would have a very nice use case right away: we have weekly coffee talk meetings and use Retrospec boards to organise them, e.g. https://boardretro.party/61f8f1820dbce200123b82eb Every participant can post proposals there and everyone has 3 votes in a meeting. We then discuss those item with the most votes. We've done extensive research a couple of months ago and couldn't find any open source products offering that feature. Quite a few paid-for options available, so there must be some need for this.
