This use case is probably for a package management tool rather than a spec.

As a library consumer I want to be able to review available updates to the library and compare them with the currently used version.

There are many ways to compare two versions of a library:

compare the source code (as unified diff for example)
show git log output
run an API comparison tool

@kostya-sh thanks. I think use cases like this are important. Any spec needs to contain the relevant information needed to enable this kind of use case. Plus, it's useful for tooling authors, like myself, to be reminded of.

When I start making some revisions on the use cases I'll incorporate this.
