[Feature Request] Exclude a Country / Exclude the US #1

Cool project!

A Google Flights feature I’ve been missing is a way to exclude flights that have connections in certain countries like the US that don’t allow connection without a visa - which the user might not have, making those flights irrelevant for the search.

A way to currently excluded flights with a connection in a specific country is to manually exclude all of the country’s airports from the search, which for big countries like the US can be quite annoying.

This feature can be implemented as a country filter, which relies on the flights’ airport data to exclude flights based on a (static?) mapping between airports and country.

This feature is probably most useful for flights connecting in US airports, since the US has lots of flights options but also strict visa requirements for connections. So a toggle/other to exclude US airports would probably cover most use cases, but I may be unaware of other use cases that folks with other passports have.

Well turns out that there’s a built in way I’ve missed https://support.google.com/faqs/answer/2736497?hl=en 😅
