The original thread also included EOT (IE6+) with that, which by current standards is superfluous when WOFF is also supported (IE9+).
At the very least though, SVG should be removed: https://caniuse.com/#feat=svg-fonts
Method of using fonts defined as SVG shapes. Removed from SVG 2.0 and considered as a deprecated feature with support being removed from browsers.
Only necessary for Safari (and Mobile Safari) 3.2–5.
