What is currently called ic-gt will become ic-mt: https://github.com/matthewhammer/ic-game-terminal/issues/46
When that project makes a release, we can download it here in our CI scripts, and replay interactive runs and compare screen captures (for real e2e tests that go from keyboard events to drawn screens)

The start of this is addressed in #6

Next steps, mostly involving new features for ic-mt that we'd like to have for MirrorGarden tests, generally:

Have raw events as a candid text file, for input to ic-mt, and
- Feed those raw events into ic-mt, producing a .GIF of running those events in "simulation mode" (new proposed feature)
