Support "hashtag-based" search:

Create named text files
Add text to each; the text contains "hashtags" (# followed by certain non-whitespace characters) intermixed with ordinary text
Search for hash tags that appear in the text
Results are organized by some simple metric that we can change later (e.g., how early the hashtag appears in the text, or how many times it appears in total, etc.)

5 gives a provisional search API for getting the search results in a useful way.
