I had the same problem and found out that version 1.6 has increased minimum target version from 8.0 to 11.1. @nakajijapan Was there a need to increase the target version to 11? We are using Regift, and we have switched to Swift 5, however we have compilation issues since we support iOS 9.3 and can't use version 1.6.
