Where does the geocoding data come from? #19

Just wondering as there are a lot of localities with the same postcode that have the exact same lat/long values, e.g. Shailer Park QLD and Tanah Merah QLD. If you use google maps and search for those the marker positions are different.

They come from a combination of Aus Gov GIS data and Google. There are now two sets of lat/longs, one for each source. Unfortunately they do differ :-/
