6 years ago The timing parameters for 94% apparently don't work: A PCAN-USB adapter on the same bus could receive frames from the CANtact and the CANtact could receive frames from the PCAN-USB adapter. However only the PCAN-USB, not the CANtact were able to receive frames from a target device on the same bus.
In commit 1f872f61efa6a1327188b6bc3a6dca64ae86e2a5 bxCAN timing parameters were added putting the sample point at 94% (The timings were generated using http://www.bittiming.can-wiki.info/). The setting was never tested, although it is favourable over having the sample point at 50% as it makes the CAN more robust in larger networks: In larger networks the capacity between CAN-H and CAN-L is higher due to the increased cable length, delaying the rise and fall of the signal edges.
