To be clear, this playlist only contained: image urls and the channel urls pointed to an external domain You can see they dont even mention what the copyright material is....

However, i cant be bothered trying to fight this, The playlist stuff is just a pain in the butt anyway and I dont want to risk what I really enjoy (Kodi addons) for the sake of some playlists.

There is a near future plan to have a Docker container users can run locally that will allow using my Kodi addons to generate there own playlists etc! WIN! :)

Thanks Matt, maybe you can reconsider the playlists, while I understand they're a pain in the butt, I, like many others loved and relied on them..

I hope the new solution is easy to use and has EPGs.

It's not about being a pain in the butt; it's about the fact that no sane person would put themselves in front of the speeding train that is the DMCA police. Matt is absolutely doing what needs to be done to protect himself.

Warner Bros Discovery needs to go bankrupt at this point. They are the worst with David Zaslav tax writing off good shows while keeping the crappy ones up. They should had never merged discovery to warner bros. At&t should had been stuck with them they treated it way better.

The only problem is these companies think redistributing FAST CHANNELS is illegal in this situation. Like if you think its illegal just put widevine drm on plutotv at that point. I believe it shouldnt be illegal to redistribute FAST Channels since you can easily grab an m3u8.

This sucks, but it's fully understandable, you don't need the stress of DMCA take-downs. A heartfelt thanks for everything you've done up to now, and going the docker container route would be awesome.

If it helps anyone else that uses Docker... Matt's Samsung TV Plus docker container is working fine. Pluto-for-channels docker container by Jon Maddox is working fine. And Plex-for-channels docker container by jgomez177 is working. They also have Docker containers for Pluto TV and Tubi

Since we will be able to use docker to generate playlists, do you think there will be a way to block Pluto TV ads like cabernetwork does? Not sure how'd it work in Kodi tho as I can't get cabernetwork to work anymore no matter what...

It seems like cabernetwork replaces ads and bumpers with a completely black screen according to users which is different than the samsung pluto tv filter but I really can’t confirm if this would improve playback and prevent playback crashes on Kodi as I wasn’t able to get it working. Looking forward to your holy plan!

Yes I use Tivimate also, and I only wish there can be new m3u8's, anyone can stream there apps but I like them combined in Tivimate , Thank you for all your previous efforts with them, LOL, it took me so long to organize them in Tiviimate, and now thy are gone, :(

Hey Matt if you could make a docker for pbs using the pbs m3u list channels man that would be sweet.the current pbs bridge docker only gets my local pbs channels but ideally i'd like to run the pbs through channels dvr so hoping i can by using as a docker can utilize the widevine and theyll work in channels and not only tivimate and a few other players ive tried.Thank you for al you do Brother

Hi all,

i always use the german SamsungTV playlist directly in iplayTV on an Apple TV and converted as a TS-Stream via dvbviewer for my dreambox sat receiver. So, what are the options now if you don't use kodi?

For the docker container: I do have a Raspberry Pi. Is there a tutorial somewhere how to set this up manually without using docker?

Thank you for your work matt, especially as your feeds can be region specific. I get the German channels for (e.g.) Pluto by default and that is what I'm trying to get around.

The playlist has been removed unless someone has a previously downloaded copy that's not an option. The EPG is looking very last I checked and if you have it already cached I to say to imate etc the links still work but can't extract the links. So happy the PBS still work on my Tivimate but was hoping to get it going with a docker.

This is probably a stupid question, But are there programs that extract web addresses from some of these streaming apps? or EPG's from there feeds? I don't mind doing the work and sorting and assigning but when a link is discontinued it is back to square one again, Tivimate seems to be the only application that can combine all your feeds if you have the M3u8 addresses, I have at least 20 different xml adresses that I can insert the epg's for each M3u8's

Its very easy once you ibstall it runs no mather what creating a m3u y xml epg files.

Theres also a php script for pluto with you can use proxy to get epg abd playlist files

You need linux , you can run in a pi

You’re gonna need to get a scraper up and running and then you’ll need to find the ip address of your device as well as the port that scraper is pointing at but may require unblocking ports from firewall on pc. I use docker on linux which is my preferred way to go but you can use docker for desktop. I’d also suggest waiting for matthuisman to release his docker containers as they are usually simple to get up and run.

Yes that sounds like a better idea, I will just wait till someone comes out with a proper M3u8, in the mean time I will have to edit my free channel list in Tivimate, take out Samsung's and replace with other free same channels, boy what a job, Lol

you can get pluto ones, that no requires anything. again idk their playlist get special links , it be probably a good reason. maybe for new channels or updates.

its a normal playlist. but you dont know too much about systems, then lots of confusion. i guess. we say in the begininig you need run the docker. with the docker you generate the playlist. then you can play on tivimate. like any playlist.
