Max Addon - Eurosport Support #794

Eurosport has decided to discontinue its Eurosport Player service in July 2024 and integrate its content into Max (formerly HBO Max) as extra paid service. Can support for the Eurosport be added to Max Addon?

No specific login is needed. All You need is to subscribe for Eurosport (Sport) channels and new item in menu appears.

Your change definitely improved the situation and it is possible to enter "Sport" menu item. Thanks a lot for this. The remaining problem is that some folders are empty and e.g. in "Channels" folder there is only one channel instead of two.

It is called "Sports Add-on". See screenshot, pls.: max-sport

i understand. but, the login provided to me by a user is a USA subscription with B/R sports so i am unable to test / develop eurosport unless a user of that can provide a login

I would very much like to provide you with the necessary information, but unfortunately, it is not possible. I believe that an European reading this comment might be able to offer help in this matter.

i dont need testing, i need logins with the correct access.

anyway, this isnt high priority so may be some while away

@matthuisman I can provide you with a login that has Eurosport access. Let me know how I can contact you 😊 (fwiw, I don't know if Max and/or the Eurosport part are geofenced, I guess we'll have to find out)

I see it's actually already available in the "Sport" category 👍🏻

@davidhulka as above - can you access the eurosport via "sport" category?
