Dear Author: Thanks a lot for making your distinguished research public available. I am wondering have you tried your methods on the brain CT and MRI image multimodel registration?

we have not used brain CT/MR, but we ran extensive experiments on other CT/MR registration tasks, please see e.g. https://imi.uni-luebeck.de/sites/default/files/ISBI2015_Visceral.pdf Here, also using the linear alignment (and again resampling to similar isotropic resolutions) is of importance.
