ebooks disspaeared

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. upgraded from 1.3.7 to 1.4 v of books
2. no ebooks visable
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

installed new version of books 1.4 and suddenly all my ebooks have 
dissapeared and cant seem to reload them - tried changing to diff 
directory as previously suggested in another post. Have tried reinstalling 
books, dwngrading and nothing happens i still cannot see any of my ebooks 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

books v1.4 or books 1.3.7 & firmware 1.1.3 - was working fine with books 
until tried to upgrade books

Please provide any additional information below.

using winscp i can connect to my itouch and i can see the books are in teh 
right folder and the other folder suggested but books doesnt seem to be 
finding them

please advise

Please ignore :P

i was reading a few others posts and someone suggested deleting the plst file 
in the 
books.app directory and all is now working fine
