JAILBREAK METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?!?!?
Geeze! I go offline for one evening and... :)
I'll certainly do it once things are a bit more stable. I want to be cautious
with it.

I'm in... I'll upgrade to whatever version Books.app runs on!
I don't know about the TIFF exploit version, since the source code isn't
available, and the "load this in your
browser and it'll do fun things to your phone" calls for a large degree of
trust... but the dev team version
seems pretty straight forward as far as jailbreaking is concerned (you can
pretty much do it by hand if you can
follow what they're doing and have the right version of iphuc to do the large
read/writes).
We might as well get up to 1.1.1 before 1.1.2 comes out! :P
So... new version of Books.app will be ready by tomorrow? ;)

In case anyone's waiting, v1.3 seems to work correctly on a jailbroken iPhone
v1.1.1!

tk, you are swiftly becoming my favorite user. :) Did you compile it, or just
grab the existing binary?

Dev Team jailbreak, copied 1.3 binary to /Applications/ and rebooted... nothing
special.

And that's that! :) Working great here, too.

great, thanks to this report I decided to upgrade to 1.1.1, it was not painless
but
books.app worked fine from the first time I could try it.
