We need more language like this in the Abstract, and throughout the paper.
JL: Throughout the paper, we should try to use language that is more about biology, and less about statistics. The statistics are just a tool. But we should try to talk about the biological concepts in a clear and simple way, without referring to statistics more than necessary.

JL: I think we need to revise this. We need clear biological messages that are not so focused on “area-proportionality” and “mass-proportionality”. Most readers will not be interested in these concepts. These concepts are like statistical methods. They serve a methodological purpose, but we should try to find a different way to express our main results.
