The gridfinity base from kennetek/gridfinity-rebuilt-openscad is designed to be printed flat, but Screwfinity needs to be printed on its back. This causes problems because the lower section of the base goes vertical, which creates a need for support material. ZombieHedgehog got around with with the original Screwfinity by making that base component angled.
Look into whether the gridfinity-rebuilt-openscad bases are configurable. If not, maybe use Lip to apply a small chamfer to the lower part of each foot.
