Entering sim mode should exit "Searching for GPS..." state #140

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start app w/o a GPS or network location (see Searching for GPS...) on screen.
2. Start the simulator.

What is the expected output? 
- Map should show simulated position.

What do you see instead?
- "Searching for GPS..."

Not that you can get the map to start displaying by either panning a bit or 
changing the phone orientation.

Was able to reproduce on 0.13.0 (trunk r521).
