The "activate simulator" checkbox is toggled if the user taps anywhere above
the row of "+" buttons. It's very easy to inadvertently de-activate the
simulator when you miss tap a "+" a bit too high.
Add a bit more margin between the row that has that checkbox and the row with
the + buttons.
Even better - have a better UI layout for the simulator controls.
