Does anyone know if the advanced settings super sampling conflicts with, or adversely affect the new Steam VR global + application resolution settings?
Changing the SS in Advanced Settings changes the global SS. This is when it is set to manual override but I don't know if it does anything when it isn't.
This means per-app SS is multiplied by the SS you set in AS.
Is it possible to have the global SS slider on the Video tab in Steam VR reflect the global SS value set in Advanced Settings?
It already does as long as "manual override" is ticked
Recently, a SteamVR
beta* version was released which allows for super-sampling settings per-application (finally!). Apparently "this setting is a multiplier on top of the current global application resolution from the Video settings tab in SteamVR", at least in its current form. It would be awesome if support for this feature is added to OpenVR-AdvancedSettings.Also, please either support two decimal places if you decide to stick to a multiplier (e.g. 1.82x) or switch to percentage (e.g. 182%). Another welcome addition would be to display the resulting rendering resolution, like the SteamVR Settings window does.
